All elk, deer, antelope, oryx, ibex, and bighorn sheep tags in New Mexico are distributed through the NM Game & Fish draw process. Missing this deadline means missing your hunt.

Hunt
Draw results come out in April. If you draw, we prep you and get after it.
Key Dates
Draw Application Deadline
5:00 p.m. MDT — All applications must be submitted to NM Game & Fish by this date. No exceptions.
Draw Results Announced
Results are typically published in mid-April. We contact you as soon as we know.
Hunting Seasons
Antelope in August, Archery Elk in September, Rifle Elk Oct–Dec, Mule Deer Oct/Nov.
What If I Don't Draw?
If you are unsuccessful in the draw, your deposit can be rolled over to the following year or refunded (minus an admin fee).
Many clients apply for multiple years to build preference points, increasing their odds each year they don't draw. We help you build a long-term strategy.
